Opening An Account?
Once you are a resident or in employment within our common bond which is within a 7 mile radius you are eligible to join Bagenalstown Credit Union Ltd.
To open an account you need to visit our office and bring along three forms of identification:
- Current photo ID: i.e. passport, driving license.
- Evidence of address e.g. utility bill, bank statement. The bill/statement must have been issued within the last 3 to 6 months.
- Evidence of PPS number i.e. payslip, P60, Certificate of Tax Credits or a communication from Social Welfare.
Other Requirements
You must lodge and maintain at least €5.00 in shares to remain a member.
Letter from Employer confirming employment (Only applicable for working members not living in the common bond)
Please note for children’s accounts:
An account may be opened by the child or their parent/legal guardian only. Proof of Address from Parent /Guardian is required such as a recent bill or bank statement (the bill/statement must have been issued within 3 months).
A Birth or Adoption certificate may be accepted in place of photo ID for children’s accounts..
